emergent drug threat risks, on an annual basis DEWVA delivers an annual best practice
CPD event for its members. During these events guest speakers from a wide range of
backgrounds are invited to participate in sharing their knowledge and experiences with our
members. Over the years guest speakers have included a wide range of professionals
including; professors, forensic scientists, Crown Court Judges & Barristers, law enforcement
leads (from both the UK and abroad), University Lecturers, reformed international drug
dealers, gang leaders and drug users. In addition to this, our members are invited to attend
smaller, but more local / regional CPD events throughout the year. These events are
organised and facilitated by regional DEWVA representative.
To apply for membership, please download the word document and email it to the relevant regional representative (which is listed on the ‘Committee’ Page).
